Panax Ginseng: Powerhouse for Men’s Health

Panax Ginseng: Powerhouse for Men’s Health

Did you know that men are typically less healthy than women? It’s true. Men die, on average, five years sooner than women born at the same time, and are prone to more health problems throughout their life. Guys, enough is enough. It is time to get back in the game and take control over your health. Being proactive by making some lifestyle changes and using Panax Ginseng will have a huge impact on your overall quality of life and wellbeing.

Stay On Top of Your Game with Panax Ginseng

Modern day life can wear down even the strongest, leaving you feeling physically and mentally drained. Literally meaning “man root”, Panax Ginseng has been shown to increase the body’s resistance to everyday stress, anxiety, and fatigue, as well as provide a host of many other health benefits for men.

Here are some of the many advantages of using Panax Ginseng to help ensure you’re functioning at peak performance.

Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is an increasingly common disease afflicting men worldwide. Because prostate cancer is unresponsive to many forms of treatment, including hormone therapy, chemotherapy, and radiation, it is estimated that up to half of the males that develop prostate cancer will develop an incurable form of the disease. Recent studies conducted on Panax Ginseng showed promising results as an effective form of treatment because at least two of the compounds found in ginseng have been found to have anti-cancer properties. The tests thus far are mostly in laboratory, however, and need further clinical study.

Liver Disease

More men die from liver disease than women. Studies have demonstrated that ginsenosides—compounds found in Panax Ginseng—have a positive effect on a number of liver ailments. This powerful adaptogenetic herb helps fight liver damage associated with drugs and alcohol, as well as hepatitis, and liver cancer.

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is a common condition that can drastically affect the quality of life for many men. Numerous controlled clinical studies have been conducted on the effectiveness of ginseng as a treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). Research has indicated that the active ingredients found in Panax Ginseng can diminish the symptoms of ED by relaxing the muscles and improving blood flow to help achieve and maintain a longer-lasting erection.

Strength Training

A study researching the effects of ginseng on strength training discovered that taking a botanical extract of ginseng and another herb (astragalus) together with creatine could help increase strength and stamina in older adult males. Participants—a total 44 men aged 55-84—were given either creatine, creatine with ginseng and astragalus, or a placebo. They were asked to do a number of exercises three days a week over a 12 week period. Results found those taking creatine with the botanical extract lost considerably more body fat and gained more strength than the other two groups.

A Simple Step

There are many things a man can do to improve his health, including eating healthy, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep, but one of the easiest things you can do is to take an herbal tonic like Panax Ginseng.
